Commercial EPC assessments
Energy evidence for a real commercial decision.
An office, a shop or a larger building needs an assessment that fits its use and complexity. We help establish the scope, coordinate a suitable assessor and connect the certificate to the next property decision.
Scope, quote and appointment confirmed with you.

Start here when…
- You need a non-domestic EPC for a relevant transaction.
- You are reviewing a lease, acquisition or commercial asset.
- You need an evidence-based starting point for an improvement programme.
A few details make a better brief.
- Building use and approximate floor area
- Existing EPC and plans, if available
- Your transaction, question and access arrangements
You don’t need every answer to start the conversation.
A clear process, from the first request.
Establish the building and purpose
Share the use, approximate size, plans and reason for assessment. The right scope depends on the property.
Confirm a suitable assessment route
We confirm the quote and arrange an appropriate commercial assessor, with the required access and documents.
Connect the certificate to the decision
Review the lodged EPC and discuss whether compliance review or improvement modelling is the appropriate next stage.
Know what you’re arranging.
- Scope and building complexity review
- Appointment coordination with a suitable assessor
- A lodged non-domestic EPC after assessment
- Options for a compliance review and improvement modelling
The final quote confirms what is included for your property.

What information is useful for a quote?
The address, building use, approximate floor area, existing EPC and available plans help establish scope and complexity.
Is the residential assessment suitable for a commercial property?
Non-domestic buildings need the appropriate commercial assessment route. Mixed-use properties need their different parts and uses reviewed.
Does a commercial EPC alone decide MEES compliance?
No. Property and tenancy scope, EPC duties, the rating and any applicable exemption need to be considered together.
What about future commercial requirements?
Check the dated regulation tracker. Future commercial policy depends on building size, scope and implementing legislation.
