Domestic EPC assessments
Your certificate. Your next step. Clearly explained.
Arrange the assessment, coordinate access and get the certificate you need. If the rating raises a bigger question, there is a clear route into a property review or improvement plan.
Scope, quote and appointment confirmed with you.

Start here when…
- You need an EPC for a residential property transaction.
- You want to understand the current certificate and whether another assessment is appropriate.
- You have completed works and need to discuss reassessment.
A few details make a better brief.
- Property address and postcode
- Existing EPC, if you have one
- Property type, size and access arrangements
You don’t need every answer to start the conversation.
A clear process, from the first request.
Tell us about the property
We check the location, assessment requirement and access information, then confirm the quote and availability.
Arrange the assessment
An appropriately accredited domestic assessor carries out the assessment. We coordinate the booking and customer communication.
Receive the EPC and consider what follows
The assessor lodges the EPC after the completed assessment. If improvements are needed, discuss the report before choosing works.
Know what you’re arranging.
- Property and access details checked before booking
- Assessment by an appropriately accredited domestic assessor
- A lodged EPC following the completed assessment

Does the booking request confirm an appointment?
We confirm the scope, price and available appointment with you before the booking is agreed.
Who carries out the assessment?
An appropriately accredited domestic energy assessor. MEESCompliance coordinates your booking and customer communication.
Will a new EPC automatically improve the rating?
No. The result depends on the building, assessment evidence and applicable methodology. A reassessment is not a guaranteed rating improvement.
Can you help after a low rating?
You can discuss a MEES review or EPC improvement plan, then an appropriately scoped works enquiry.
